Pre-K Unearth a Story

Youngsters ages 0-5 are encouraged to build a life-long love for reading with this FREE program.  Here is how to participate:

  1. Have someone read to you and log your time in ReadSquared.  1 minute = 1 point.
  2. Collect prizes when you reach 120, 240, and 360 points. 
  3. Complete the reading goal before July 10th and receive a Certificate of Completion.

For added fun watch cool shows, play games, and go on exciting missions.  Each week offers something different so check the calendar often and don't miss out!

Kids Unearth a Story

Children ages 6-12 are encouraged to build a life-long reading habit with this fun challenge. Here is how to participate:

  1. Read/listen to books and log your time in ReadSquared.  1 minute = 1 point.
  2. Collect prizes when you reach 240, 480, and 720 points. 
  3. Complete the reading goal by July 10th to receive a Certificate of Completion.
  4. Attend 5 shows and complete the reading goal by July 10th to receive an invitation to the End-of-Summer Water Party at the library.
